Not a complete radical

I am not a complete anti-TV radical. We do allow our children to watch the occasional Myth Busters or Suite Life of Zack and Cody and my husband is enamored with ESPN. I started this blog just to help make other moms aware of some of the dangers of too-much television, video games, etc. 

I think Mama Bear put it best in The Berenstain Bears, Too Much TV. "I don't have anything against TV. I like it. What I'm against is the TV habit - sitting in front of it day after day like old stumps waiting for dry rot to set in."

I hope I won't offend any of you by posting against the perils of television, but many families are missing out on life - watching somebody else live it. My goal is to help us all enjoy life a bit more.
